CHASING GREATNESS AT HYROX WORLDS 2026

THE HOGS ARE HEADING TO STOCKHOLM

YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT THE HOUSE OF GREATNESS ATHLETES HEADING TO STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN FOR HYROX WORLDS 2026

3 ATHLETES. 1 MISSION.

Three of our own are heading to Stockholm. Sean, Kaitlyn and Cass have been putting in the work and have qualified to compete at the HYROX World Championships in June 2026!

If you know them, we bet you’re not surprised. You've seen their sessions. You know their commitment. And you know that the community around them (you) have played a major part too — the shared training, the encouragement, the culture that makes everyone here better. That's what brought them here. Not just the training — but who they trained with, and what it built in them.

Sean’s Story

After finishing on the world stage and hanging up the helmet from his Canadian bobsled career, Sean found himself in a spot he didn’t really expect.

For a long time, everything was about chasing something. Then all of a sudden… there was nothing lined up next - so he went looking for it.

In 2023, he came across HYROX and signed up for HYROX New York City 2024 without overthinking it. Endurance wasn’t his strength, and he didn’t fully know what he was getting into, but he knew he needed a new challenge. That first race gave him more than he expected. It lit something within him. This new space, this environment, it was special.

It wasn’t about competing anymore, but about getting to the forefront of this crazy sport and bringing it home to the Niagara region. It was his hope that he could recreate even a small part of that feeling for the people back at his gym.

At the same time, a new goal quietly formed…to get back to the world stage again, this time through the HYROX World Championships.

So he got to work.

His first class had six people in it, a couple of them fellow coaches just there to support and see what it could become. Nothing about it felt big at the time. It grew the way most things do. Slowly. Through consistency. Through people buying in.

Two years later, those sessions have turned into four full classes a week, with close to 30 athletes in each. Not overnight. And not without help. He’s been lucky to have the kind of support and encouragement that makes it easier to keep showing up, even on the days that aren’t great.

And somewhere along the way, it stopped being about him. It became about the people.

Watching friends grow into more confident, disciplined, resilient versions of themselves… that’s the part that sticks. Seeing those changes, even in a small way, made every early morning and every burpee worth it.

What started small turned into something much bigger. A community. A group of people who show up for each other. A group that feels a lot like family.

By HYROX Toronto 2025, over 30 of his athletes stepped onto the start line, many of them for the first time. And on that same day, he checked off the goal he set early on - he qualified for the HYROX World Championships.

But that’s not what sticks with him most. It’s the people. The work. Everything that got built along the way. He’s still chasing, just with a lot more people beside him now.

Co’s Story

When Kaitlyn graduated from varsity hockey, she thought her highest level of competition was behind her.

The first time she heard about HYROX, she laughed. An 8 km race plus 8 fitness stations was not something she believed she was capable of.

But about a year after hockey, when House of Greatness became a HYROX affiliate gym, coach Sean told her he wanted them to race mixed doubles. He believed they could qualify for the World Championships, and honestly, she thought his goal was far-fetched.

But then they started training — and her competitive identity came back.

Since her debut in October 2024, she has competed in 10 HYROX events. What began as trying something new quickly became a relentless process of growth — showing up daily, pushing limits, and rediscovering what it means to fully commit to something again.

By the end of the 2024/25 season, qualifying for the 2026 HYROX World Championships in Sweden became her goal too.

And after countless hours of training and the unwavering support from their incredible HYROX community, that is exactly what they did.

What she loves most about HYROX is simple: you get out exactly what you put in. The work never stops, the ceiling keeps moving, and every race is another opportunity to raise her standard.

She is grateful for the journey, the people beside her, and the chance to compete again.

Cass’ Story

When Cass finished her varsity soccer career, she still had a strong competitive drive — something she now channels as a self-proclaimed Sunday league superstar.

Last summer, she joined the House of Greatness HYROX community and instantly became a huge part of the family.

From the beginning, Cass was drawn to doing hard things. Whether it’s pushing limits in training, lining up for HYROX, or preparing for her first marathon, she thrives on the challenge — even if she’ll be the first to admit she prefers training at HOG over long runs any day.

Naturally competitive, Cass brings energy and drive into everything she does (and yes, she takes pride in beating the boys when she can).

Since starting HYROX, she has raced three times. In her third race — competing in Women’s Pro Doubles in Chicago — she qualified for the 2026 HYROX World Championships in Sweden.

What started as joining a new community quickly turned into something much bigger: a commitment to growth, consistency, and showing up every day alongside a group that pushes each other to be better.

Outside of the gym, Cass enjoys reading, cooking, and sewing. She also works at Precision Longevity, an optimization clinic focused on helping people become the best versions of themselves.

She’s incredibly grateful for the support of her close friends, family, and the HYROX community that has played such a big role in her journey.

This shirt represents that journey and the people behind it.
